Learning in a diverse environment with students from diverse backgrounds and experiences facilitates transformational learning to help students become global citizens with a desire to leave the world a bit better than they found it.	en
dc.description.abstract	This 3-credit study abroad course is designed for undergraduates to develop an understanding of the challenges of managing the transboundary consequences of disasters, whether natural or man-made. Students will gain a deeper understanding of the differences in culture, language, and disaster management approaches between the host country, neighboring countries, international organizations, and their country of origin.	en
