Texas Poultry Pest Control Practices
Abstract
A 1996 survey of 242 Texas poultry operators found that fire ants and darling beetles have emerged as major pests in the industry. Survey results included types of poultry operations, pests, control methods and needs, and differences in operations by region and by product.
