This bulletin is based on the work of students who took my spring semester gang course in 2010 at New Mexico State University. These students actively sought out information from the community and practitioners regarding insight into gangs in several geographic areas (Anthony, Dona Ana, and Las Cruces, New Mexico, El Paso, Texas, and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico). This is the second participatory action research course that I taught dedicated toward understanding gangs along the southern New Mexico and Texas border.en
