Description
The Veterinary Microscopic Anatomy Review series is a 21-volume set of interactive iBooks to allow a Q&A type review of microscopic anatomy structure and function. The histological sections are taken from multiple domestic species, including the canine, feline, bovine and equine.
In this unit of the series, a predominantly serous (parotid) and a mixed (mandibular) salivary gland, a couple sections of pancreas, and multiple sections of liver are examined. This unit provides many opportunities to review the staining of organelles and their functions in relation to the functions of these glands. In addition, the structure and function of the gall bladder are reviewed.
