TAMU 2010 India Days Festival Flier
Abstract
India Day is a three day festival organized at Texas A&M University by the Friends of India Network (FIN) in association with various campus organizations. A 3-day celebration of ancient and contemporary India within the context of Texas A&M University. This festival honors the memory of one of India's greatest and most inspiring personalities, Mahatma Gandhi, on his birthday on October 2, 2010. The festival involves and inaugural program on September 30, 2010 from 5-7 pm in Rudder Theater followed by Flavors of India dinner at Sbisa Dining Hall from 7-9 PM, an academic symposium in Rudder 601 on Oct 1 from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, yoga session from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm on October 1, an exhibition cricket match in University Apartment Fields from 9:30-11:30 AM on October 2, 2010, screening of Rang De Basanti Bollywood film in Geren Auditorium (Langford Building B) from 1-4 PM, and conclude with light music performance from 5-6 PM on October 2, 2010.
