dc.description.abstractThe following is a synopsis of ten research articles written by Professor Heidi Campbell over the past two decades addressing important Issues of how religious communities use the internet, and the ways churches are impacted by their use and experimentation. A summary is provided of each article, along with two to four quotes from each article that highlight key research findings. Article quotes are presented as “lessons” that each of these research studies can offer religious organizations and community leaders who are considering or trying to implement digitally mediated forms of worship. This overview also spotlights important social, ethical and theological implications of doing church online that can impact religious organizations.en
