dc.description	In this lecture, students explore different approaches to science journalism such as science boosters, science interpreters, and science critics/skeptics. After explaining what those different approaches mean to them, we explore how each role might have played out at different points in the history of thalidomide, demonstrating the tradeoffs between pure boosterism and visceral skepticism.	en
