Libraries are continually improving, iterating, and looking for new ways to better serve our patrons. The need for regular change creates communication, transparency, and logistical issues throughout our organizations. Formalized project management includes the processes and workflows for how an idea moves from conception to realization such as how projects get chosen, resources are allocated, and the scope is defined. Making formal these process streamlines the work of the organization and increases capacity. Integrating formal project management into library operations can change how libraries transform. This poster will depict a number of formalized project management tools utilized at an academic library. It will include a demand workflow process; project portfolio dashboard; diversity and inclusion maturity matrix for project management, and project management templates. It will also include the benefits and lessons learned that the library has seen during the implementation of formalized project management within the organization.en
