dc.description.abstractA kinematic wave model is developed to study surface irrigation. Depending on the variability of infiltration and the kinematic wave friction parameter, three cases are distinguished. Explicit analytical solutions are obtained for the case when infiltration is constant, and a possible approach is suggested for the case when it is not.en
