dc.description.abstract | Designing a computer generated character involves many steps, including the structure that is responsible for moving the character in a organic manner. There are several ways to develop a character to control the motion exhibited by the skin's surface. The author discusses two approaches to character control and the many phases such as pre-production, modeling, tool use, and their relationship with the muscle-based character motion controls. This thesis further elaborates in detail how a computer generated character is designed to simulate muscle movement when animated. | en |
