| dc.description.abstract | This report gives a short history of the influence that the exportation of beef has had on the beef industry in the United States. It also looks at the importance of expanding foreign markets and the sources available to exporters to help locate and insure foreign customers. The information contained in this report comes from daily contact with beef exporters made while serving as an intern in the office of a successful beef trading company. Information was also gained through a literature review, and conversations with both the United States Meat Export Federation and the Texas Beef Council. | en |
