Scope and Methods of Study: Three sets of data derived from 591 lamb carcasses were utilized. One phase of the study compared the efficiency of conversion of data to a basis of percent, regression on carcass weight, and regression on the reciprocal of carcass weight for removing the effect of variation in carcass wright from estimates of cutability. A second phase evaluated the effectiveness of various combinations of carcass traits for estimating cutability of lamb carcasses. ...en
