dc.description.abstract | A differential, regional BWR model for prediction of volumetric properties in the fluid state is developed. This model allows the breakdown of PVT data into various regions with assurances of required continuity across the data region interfaces. The method is applied to available data on superheated ethane and liquid methane. Coefficients are found for the model and used to compare against experimental data and the results of previous data representation. The coefficients found are utilized to compute thermodynamic properties. Computed thermodynamic properties are compared with previous results from different investigations. | en |
