Abstract
An Energy-Efficiency and Energy-Conservation
Program relies on an active partnership between a
company's employees and its management in order
to succeed. Teamwork, from project designs to
funding, is critical. The Total Quality Management
(TQM) approach depends on the input from the
end-users, clients, employees, power companies,
various consultants and site operation management.
This paper discusses the energy efficiency projects that are currently in progress at Rhone Poulenc's Corporate and Specialty Chemicals Division Centers. These projects are focused on the reduction of energy waste and on improving the life cycle costs at two of our major administrative sites.
