Description
An article about the status of computers in education, some of the major problems in education, and how they relate to technology. Blaschke writes there has been a lack of effective use in education where the use of computers appeared to stagnate due to ineffective management in schools and a lack of political planning. Blaschke contends the use of computers in education has not been relevant to the issues facing education, public education has not created an environment conducive to using technology effectively, and that computers will become a catalyst for improving educational quality.
