dc.description.abstract(Black and White) This postcard is a photograph of the Unknown Warrior's Grave, in Westminster Abbey, London. This is one of the first official examples of the concept of a tomb for an unknown soldier that represents all those lost or unidentified on the battlefield. The grave is still honored today. The copyright states F. Renton, but it is unclear if he took the photograph, owned it, or produced the postcard. This card is uninscribed and unposted.en
