Abstract
Cone maturity is as follows- cone A, taphonomically degraded (picture 1); cone B, basal section (picture 2); cone C, basal section (picture 3); cone D, mature (picture 4). A single golden coprolite was identified in the matrix (picture 5).
Description
These images were used in the research for a master's thesis from the Texas A&M University Dept. of Geology and Geophysics (Date of submission: May 2020).
Images were taken from unmounted peels of coal balls.
Cone A is a degraded cone.
Cone B and C are basal sections.
Cone D is a mature cone.
A golden coprolite was identified in the matrix.
Peels were made by Anne Raymond, the advisor for this thesis.
