This study discussed a theoretical model for the start-up stage of a design-advertising agency in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The model is designed based on the analysis of the same industry in Austin, Texas, USA and takes into account the national context of Kazakhstan. Changes in the pace of technological, social, organizational, and managerial evolution make it difficult to draw firm conclusions.en
