dc.description.abstract | A climate database for the state of Texas has been created from daily observations made at 1336 stations throughout Texas. These stations consist of both fest-order stations and local cooperative weather stations. The climate database has daily, monthly-, and annual-mean values available. The climate database is accessible through a web interface, which allows the data to be displayed in tables, time-series plots, or contour plots. In addition to displaying data, the availability of data for a station may be plotted. This climate database should be useful for both researchers and the public. Users may access this climate database through its web address: http://climate.tamu.edu or through the Office of the State Climatologist's web page at http://www.met.tamu.edu/osc. | en |
