The dynamics of growth in aquatic organisms were mathematically described in this study. The growth rate equation, a function of organism weight, food availability and oxygen concentration, was developed employing a Growth Rotor approach. A stochastic thermodynamic model was derived to reflect the temperature effects on aquatic organism growth. An organism size distribution function was incorporated into the model to predict biomass production. The mechanisms determining the size distribution were discussed. A parameter evaluation of the growth model was performed to test its behavior.en
