Purpose of the Research The purpose of this research was to determine the status of industrial arts drafting programs in the public secondary schools in New Hampshire during the Fall term, 1974. Procedure of the Research A survey instrument was prepared to gather information about the existing conditions and the teacher's opinions concerning the following areas: personnel, facilities, equipment, instruction, curriculum, and needs. A visitation to each industrial arts drafting facility was made to deliver the survey instrument and to secure interview data. A one hundred percent return of the survey instruments was accomplished largely because of individual visitations and the interest of the New Hampshire industrial arts drafting teachers.en
