In this dissertation we consider the analysis of data sampled from a cumulative distribution function which is a mixture of two distributions, one of which is discrete with a finite number of jump points and the other which is continuous at each of the jump points of the first. Estimators of population values such as the mean and variance are available for discrete-continuous mixture distributions. A general method is presented for calculating the asymptotic distribution of a class of estimators of certain functions of the parameters of discrete-continuous mixture distributions.en
