Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of two training frequencies upon selected physical fitness measures in college men. Data were gathered on the following variable: submaximal exercise heart rate, percent lean body weight, maximal 0(subscript_2)/kg lean body weight, submaximal minute volume.kg body weight, resting diastolic blood pressure, resting pulse pressure and Physical Fitness Index. Procedure: The forty-two subjects who participated in the study ranged in age from eighteen to twenty-four years. The subjects were randomly assigned to three groups -- a control group and two experimental groups.
