dc.description.abstract | Three 1-aminoalkylphosphonic acids were synthesized, utilizing the modified Curtius reaction. Two of the amino phosphonic acids synthesized are analogs of naturally occurring 1-aminoalkylcarboxylic acids. The 1-aminoalkylphosphonic acids synthesized were 3-methylthio-1-aminopropyIphosphonic acid (methionine analog), 3-ethylthio-1-aminopropylphosphonic acid (ethionine analog) and 2-(3-indolyl)-1-aminoethyl-phosphonic acid (tryptophane analog). Two triethyl 2-phosphonoalkanoates, triethyl 4-methylthio-2-phosphonobutyrate and triethyl 4-ethylthio-2-phosphonobutyrate, were synthesized and characterized. ... | en |
