dc.description.abstractThis study focuses on the problem of visual pollution in College Station. Basically, the study reviews the present sign control ordinance in College Station and the local conditions to determine compliance with the ordinance. The study also examines psychological and pertinent sign control data to develop criteria applicable to sign control in College Station. Once developed, the criteria is applied to two cases in College Station as examples of application. Finally, the study ends with a discussion of possible implications and implementation. The study also concludes with a demand for further research of related topics.en
