dc.description.abstract | The past year was one of significant progress in the Industrial Electrification Program. The Electrification Studies (i.e., process profiles) have been essentially completed. Work associated with developing these process profiles provided the background for the initial list of candidate process technologies which was subsequently used as the starting point for discussions with utility/industry at the Process Application Meetings (PAMs). Through these PAMs, EPRI was able to not only obtain a consensus of industrial opinion on specific technologies, but, was also able to identify commonalities that exist vis-a-vis novel electrical process technologies. These meetings also established the basis for a continuing dialogue with the utilities and their industrial customers. | en |
