dc.description.abstract | Past energy audits of petrochemical plant production units at Union Carbide have demonstrated that the key to an effective, comprehensive audit of a large production unit is to minimize the time period requirement for the team activity. This paper describes a comprehensive energy audit performed in six weeks on a large and relatively new production unit. This audit resulted in identifying and evaluating 62 opportunities reducing annual energy usage by $2,000.000. | en |
