Abstract
In an era of increasing energy and construction costs, utilities have initiated efforts to influence what happens “on the other side of the meter” in order to better match the supply and demand of electricity and hold costs down. The Corporate Headquarters for Alabama Power Company was designed to utilize and demonstrate technologies which are of mutual benefit to customer and utility.
