Abstract
The ideal approach to reducing or eliminating waste products is to avoid making them in the first place. This article will examine numerous process modifications that have accomplished that goal. We'll look at changes to raw materials, reactors, heat exchangers, pumps, furnaces, distillation columns, piping and process control that have reduced or eliminated waste products.
