Abstract
With increasing concern to reduce the
emission of SOx, NOx and CO2, there is a
growing awareness of making most
industrial processes more energy
efficient. It is believed that this can
be achieved through collaborative efforts
between the industry, utility and the
consultants. One of the ways of
achieving this is through better process
integration. In the recent years TENSA
Services has been involved in a number of
heat integration and
heat
pump
application projects,
at
various
industrial sites. This
paper outlines
the findings of one of the studies to
illustrate how successful
partnership
can work.
