Abstract
Industrial use of freezing for component
purification and separation is well understood, but
commercial applications have been limited.
Development of this process for commercial use has
now been performed. The unique features of freeze
crystallization, low temperature operation, separation
of organic and in-organic contaminants, can be put to
use. Freeze crystallization can be applied both
economically and practically for specific wastewater
applications.
