Two African American men sitting in chairs looking over their farm records.Farm Unit Demonstrator David King and County Agent John Alexander are working on farm records in King's front room. King owns and operates sixty-one acres of land. He keeps very accurate records, even portions out the meat for his family each day of the year so he knows just how much meat to cure.
Although some of the descriptions of photographs in this collection have been altered for clarity, a majority of the descriptions are transcribed verbatim from the back of the photographs and reflect the language of those times.
