The City of Austin, Texas is forming partnerships with local companies to lower energy consumption and improve environmental performance within the industrial sector. As a local government participant in the federal Climate Wise program, Austin is encouraging companies to join the program and to implement energy-efficiency measures and engage in other activities that will result in a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions from the community.
