Abstract
Experience shows that Energy Management and Reporting
Systems (EMRS) can significantly reduce the
operating cost and green house gas emissions from
industrial processes and powerhouses. The traditional
approach of project implementation at individual
facility level requires a lengthy project identification,
approval, implementation, and final performance
evaluation cycle. Pending GHG regulations,
energy cost, and business volatility have corporations
accelerating deployment this class of system.
This paper reports the methodology and results of
corporate level directed auditing and the implementation
of EMRS across a fleet of industrial powerhouses.
