dc.description.abstract | In 1998, Sunoco joined the U.S. EPA's Climate Wise Program, an industry-government partnership through which companies make voluntary commitments to reduce their emissions of greenhouse gases and improve their environmental performance. In an effort to simplify the tracking and management of greenhouse gases required by the program, Sunoco, Inc. helped develop the Climate Wise Emissions Tracking Software. Today, Sunoco is implementing the software, which allows companies to track and report energy use and savings at the corporate level through an intranet environment. | en |
