dc.description.abstractNalco/Exxon Energy Chemicals, L.P. (NEEC) is a global chemical company that creates and produces specialty chemicals for the Petroleum/Chemical industry. Although NEEC has facilities located around the globe, it's Corporate Administration Offices and main Research Facility buildings are located in Sugar Land, Texas. The NEEC Corporate Administration Offices and Research Facilities are comprised of 4 main buildings providing ~140,000 square feet of office and research laboratories for ~250 employees. It is these buildings that the information provided is focused on. In January of 1998, NEEC performed an energy audit for the buildings listed above. Based on the findings of this audit NEEC implemented an Energy Management Program to improve the energy efficiency of the buildings. The tasks associated with this program were completed at the end of April 1998.en
