Pattern Alteration: Waistline
Abstract
A garment that is too tight in the waistline forms diagonal wrinkles, pinches the waist and gaps or pulls at the closings. A garment too loose in the waist hangs in vertical folds and falls away from the waist. This publication gives alteration instructions for garments with and without a waist seam line.
