Assistive Devices for the Home
Abstract
Many simple, inexpensive devices can make daily activities easier and safer for the elderly and those who have physical disablities. This publication suggests products for living and sleeping areas, kitchens and bathrooms. Examples include appliances that can be used with one hand, lever handles for doors, magnifiers and dressing aids.
