Abstract
Cone A (picture 1) and B (picture 2) are mature cordaitean cones. Cone A contains 23 golden coprolites and cone B contains 18 golden coprolites. Coprolites are oblong to globose in shape and are composed of macerated pollen grains (picture 5). Three golden coprolites were identified in the matrix (picture 3). A large spherical golden coprolite (>200 microns) located in the matrix was possibly produced by an insect (picture 4).
Description
These images were used in the research for a master's thesis from the Texas A&M University Dept. of Geology and Geophysics (Date of submission: May 2020).Images were taken from slides on loan from the Harvard Paleobotanical Herbarium.

Cone B contained 18 golden coprolites.
3 golden coprolites were identified in the matrix.
A large golden coprolite (>200 microns) found in the matrix was possibly produced by and insect.
