Abstract
A mature cordaitean cone (picture 6) yeilding 6 golden coprolites, four of which are deposited in a string formation (picture 1). A single small golden coprolite was located in the matrix (picture 3). Pictures 2 and 4 were taken under crossed polarized light showing intact pollen grains having no change in birefringence.
