Cordaitean Predation Photos 2019: Mounted Peels, Harvard Collection. Plate 20B
Abstract
Cones A (picture 1) and B (picture 2) are mature cordaitean cones filled with golden and brown coprolites, both types deposited in strings (picture 3). Picture 3 shows pollen grains in golden coprolites are highly macerated showing signs of digestion. Plate 20B is a successive peel taken from the same coal ball as other plates labeled 20.
