A mature cordaitean cone (picture 4) containing Cordaitina sp. and 2 golden coprolites within its cone scales (picture 3). A large brown coprolite can be identified in the matrix to the left of the cone (picture 4). Picture 2 was taken under crossed polarized light showing intact pollen grains having no change in birefringence.
