Abstract
Dr. Alvin A. Price, DVM (1949), became acting head of the Department of Veterinary anatomy and Dean of the A&M College of Texas, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1957. Under Price's deanship from 1957 to 1973, the college became fully accredited.
