dc.description.abstractDr. Mark Francis, on occasion was required to make trips to farms to diagnosis an animal. This image was taken in July of 1897 along with the picture displayed in image 0007 of this collection. Dr. Francis is standing off the mules left rear flank. The farmer holds the infected mules harness, and it is believed that the man to the left in a light suit could be Dr. Marsteller.en
