dc.description.abstract | "Dr. Groman grew up on Long Island and completed his undergraduate studies at Binghamton University in New York. He received his veterinary degree from Colorado State University in 1994. After completing an internship at Texas A&M University, he returned to Long Island where he spent two years in general practice. In 1997, Dr. Groman returned to Texas A&M to complete a three year residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, and a fellowship in Renal Medicine/Dialysis at UC-DAVIS.
