dc.description.abstract	Dr. Ronald Martens received his D.V.M. degree at Michigan State University in 1965. His scholarly interests are in equine infestious diseases-pathogenesis, diagnosis and prevention and in particular Rhodococcus equi foal pneumonia. Dr. Martens as of 2017 is professor emeritus and held positions in the department of Large Animal Medicine.	en
