Dorothy Kane, a graduating student from the class of August 1970. One of only a few women that were enrolling during those times receives a write up in a local newspaper; "...she will be known as Dr. Dorothy Kane, a practicing veterinarian. Five years ago, a bored housewife started classes at Weatherford Junior College because "there was not enough at home to keep me busy."
