dc.description.abstract | Dr. Ivan Bertrand Boughton (1893-1974). Dr. Boughton received his DVM from Ohio State University in 1916. In 1932 he moved to Texas and for the next sixteen years worked as a veterinarian for the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station, Substation 14, in Sanora. On September 1, 1948 he was appointed dean of the School of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M.
