Dr. Claudia Barton received her DVM in 1973 from the University of Missouri and came to Texas A&M to join the residency program in clinical pathology. In 1978 she became part of the Department of Small Animal Medicine and Surgery; her expertise in Veterinary Oncology adding much to the team. She has been recognized as an outstanding clinical educator by numerous organizations and has received faculty distinguished teaching and continuing education awards from TAMU.
