This building also known as the Halbouty Geosciences Building was designed by the campus.'s first architect Frederick E. Giespecke, with the help of Samuel C. P. Vosper who would become the campus.'s second architect. It was a four story building with cast stone features and had multi-colored tile work. The center tower held a several thousand gallon capcity water tank that helped maintain pressure to the hot water used in the campus heating system. This tower was removed in 1972. dc.description.abstractThis book of snapshot memories was a gift to Jerome Jackson Waters Jr. from John N. Olson; both of the graduating class of 1913, on the event of their 1938 class reunion. The 1913 long horn shows that they were both members of the Civil Engineering Society. It is uncertain how the School of Veterinary Medicine came to have this collection of photographs, but they show the look of the campus landscape circa 1930's.en
